En lo mejor de la cinematografía y la televisión, el filme sobre la muñeca estadounidense obtuvo apenas dos premios
Los Ángeles (Marcrix Noticias).— La película Oppenheimer, que narra la vida del inventor de la bomba atómica, fue la ganadora indiscutible de los premios Golden Globe, mientras que la popular cinta Barbie se fue prácticamente con las manos vacías.
Oppenheimer, dirigida por Christopher Nolan, se llevó cinco galardones de sus ocho nominaciones, incluida a la Mejor Película Drama del año.
Su director Christopher Nolan obtuvo el premio a la Mejor Dirección mientras que arrasó en las nominaciones a Mejor Actor (Cillian Murphy), Mejor Actor de Reparto (Robert Downey Jr) y Mejor Banda Sonora.
En cambio, el gran fracaso de la noche fue Barbie, que de nueve nominaciones solo obtuvo dos: Mejor Canción Original, por What Was I Made For?, tema de Billie Eilish y Finneas O’Connell, y Logro Cinematográfico y en Taquilla.
La edición 81 de los Globos de Oro, que se llevó a cabo el domingo en el teatro The Beverly Hilton, entrega lo mejor de la cinematografía y la televisión por parte de la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood.

La ceremonia fue organizada por la empresa del multimillonario Todd Boehly, firma de capital privado y Penske Media, editora de Variety y Hollywood Reporter, luego de que el L.A. Times reveló que la organización matriz de los premios, la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood (HFPA), carecía de diversidad entre sus filas al no contar con miembros negros, además de participar en prácticas éticas y financieras cuestionables.
El organismo se disolvió y el programa fue adquirido por Boehly. La cadena CBS, que adquirió los derechos, y Paramount + transmitieron la ceremonia.
